Hello, I’m Minseok Park, CEO of Becon.
Our technology was developed at Samsung Electronics' Creative Lab (C-Lab) from 2019 to 2020. Recognized for its technical capabilities and business potential, we spun off from Samsung and established Becon Inc.
I personally struggled with hair loss from my 20s, which caused significant emotional distress. I hesitated to visit a clinic out of embarrassment, and when I finally did, the continuous treatment requirements made me give up on medical solutions. I searched endlessly for hair loss-related information but found it overwhelming and unclear. As a result, I tried various shampoos, supplements, and treatments without a clear direction.
Through these experiences, I realized the importance of first understanding and defining one’s scalp condition accurately. That’s why we developed an IoT measurement device and an AI analysis algorithm to provide personalized scalp care solutions based on precise data.
Since launching our professional service in December 2023, we have rapidly emerged as a rising star in the skincare industry. We are also expanding our solutions to include data-driven products such as specialized shampoos and skin boosters.
